Lights are going up at the Sports Complex

Lights are being installed around the four baseball fields at the new Orangeburg Branchville's Sports Complex off Hwy 210.

A chart showing the "footprint" for the sports complex can be viewed in the Town Hall lobby between 8 AM - noon and 1-5 PM weekdays.

The Branchville Town Council voted on January 11, 2016, to seek a mutual aid agreement whereby the Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office and the Town police department would both patrol and have jurisdiction over the sports complex property.

The Orangeburg County Council approved the agreement on January 19.
